The limited liability company ADDECO S.R.L. was founded in July 1991 and is dealing with reservoir studies, consulting and software elaboration in the oil & gas industry, being the first Romanian Company activating in this branch.
The company is authorized by the National Agency for Mineral Resources, Bucharest, ROMANIA to perform research, feasibility reservoir studies and expertise in petroleum engineering.
During 1992-1993 ADDECO S.R.L. created a software package in Petroleum Engineering. The package was installed in 12 leases belonging to the Romanian National Petroleum Corporation PETROM: Berca, Boldeşti, Brăila, Ciureşti, Craiova, Modârzău, Moineşti, Poeni, Stoina, Ţicleni, Videle and Zemeş.
In the next period the company performed some studies, regarding production optimization and oil analysis (in the lease Berca from PETROM - in 1997), environmental protection and specifically the pollution occurring during drilling (client: Research and Design Institute for Machine Construction, Bucharest - in 1992).
During 2000-2008 the company performed 110 reservoir feasibility studies, different other studies and 63 expertise reports:
* In the year 2000 ADDECO S.R.L. performed for ROMFOR S.A. (a drilling company owned by BLACK CREEK DRILLING INCORPORATED, Houston, TX) and for ROMPETROL NV (private integrated oil & gas company owned by KazMunayGaz from Kazakhstan) 7 pre-feasibility reservoir studies for a bidding round organized by S.N.P. PETROM S.A. (Coşoaia, Cozieni, Cătruneşti, Postăvari, Dolani-Tătărani, Tătaru, Manasia).
* 4 reservoir feasibility studies for ROMFOR S.A.: Postăvari, Dolani-Tătărani, Tătaru, Manasia.
* 59 studies for the Romanian National Natural Gas Corporation S.N.G.N. * During 2000-2002 ADDECO S.R.L. was the consultant of ROMTEX International, L.L.C., Houston, TX and AMROMCO Energy, L.L.C., Delaware, for 11 ROMGAZ gas exploitation rehabilitation projects in Romania (Bibeşti-Sărdăneşti, Finta-Gheboaia, Frasin-Brazi, Gura Şuţii, Vlădeni, Strâmba-Rogojelu, Roşioru, Balta-Albă, Boldu, Fierbinţi-Târg, Zătreni-Tetoiu).
* In 2003 the company performed a study of the thermal effects of the burned gas from the flare stack of well #3 Sighişoara on the environment and in 2006 it was fulfilled 1 feasibility study for the exploitation of Sighişoara reservoir, both for WINTERSHALL S.A. Kassel, Mediaş subsidiary.
* During 2003 ADDECO S.R.L. performed the analysis and the selection among 37 development - production and production blocks for the concession of petroleum operations offered by the National Agency for Mineral Resources (N.A.M.R.) and 2 feasibility reservoir studies (Ghergheasa şi Mălini) for TRANSION S.R.L., Bucharest.
* The company fulfilled in 2004 1 pre-feasibility study for ROMPETROL S.A., Bucharest, regarding the oil reservoir Kozha, and 2 reports concerning resources estimation for the reservoirs Kemerkol and Karagan from KAZAKHSTAN.
* In December 2005 was performed for S.N.G.N. ROMGAZ S.A. a study about the possibilities of increasing the underground natural gas storage capacity for the depleted reservoir Sărmăşel, confirmed by N.A.M.R. in August 2006 and still in 2005 was carried out a study as regards the core data statistical analysis for the natural gas reservoirs from the Southern part of the Transylvanian Depression.
· ADDECO S.R.L. executed in 2007 for the British company AURELIAN OIL & GAS (former FALCON) 2 reservoir feasibility studies for the natural gas fields Bilca and Frătăuţi and in 2008 accomplished for the same company 2 pre-feasibility studies (Oporelu-Constantineşti and Siliştea-Măgureni), for the 8th bidding round organised by the National Agency for Mineral Resources, Bucharest, for 26 developing and exploitation perimeters. With these occasions were organized experience changes between the specialists of both companies, held in London. There were carried out description & evaluation reports for the 14 production perimeters N.A.M.R. 9th bidding round – 2008.
The company has the necessary experience to perform projects in the petroleum sector, including exploration and production, production enhancement, transportation, oil and gas storage and processing, consulting in the petroleum industry, production evaluation and project management expertise.
The company was ranked on the 8th place in the Prahova County Companies Top 2006, after activity domain and on the 45th place in the Romanian National Private Companies Top 2006, micro companies class.
The company has a good relationship with the majority of the companies that have activity in the Romanian oil and gas industry, including the foreign petroleum services companies.
ADDECO S.R.L. has specialists with good work experience (in Romania and abroad) in the petroleum industry.
The Managing Director, M.S., Ph.D., SPE member, Ioan Dan Grigoraş, reader (Assistant Professor) at the Petroleum-Gas University from Ploieşti at the Hydraulics, Thermodynamics and Reservoir Engineering Department from the Oil, Gas & Petroleum Products Transportation and Storage Faculty, has 28 years of experience in the petroleum industry, in production, research, design, university and business. He worked in Nigeria one year and half for National Nigerian Petroleum Corporation as tankage supervisor engineer and 3 years for AMOCO Corporation, as Reservoir Engineer.
The head of Geology and Geophysics department is Gabriela Grigoraş who has 18 years of experience in the petroleum industry and she worked previously at PETROM-I.C.P.T. (Oil & Gas Research and Design Institute) Câmpina and at DanOil Consulting S.R.L. Câmpina.
